COURSES OFFERED

  • The College is offering 5 years integrated Honours Law Degree in two different streams, i.e., BBA, B(Hons.) and B.A.,LL.B.(Hons.). The College follows the semester-system as prescribed by Dibrugarh University, consisting of two semesters in each academic year.
  • I.P.E. Law College is the pioneer institute to have introduced BBA, LL.B(H) courses in this part of the region creating numerous opportunities for aspiring students. This college is the only Law College under Dibrugarh University offering BB.A LL.B(H).

HOW TO APPLY

ADMISSION PROCEDURES AND REQUIREMENTS

Application for admission to the Five Year Law Courses is invited usually in the month of May/June. Candidates are to apply in prescribed form only. Application form along with the prospectus can be obtained from the office on payment of 200/- in cash.

The duly filled application must be accompanied by self attested Xerox copies of the testimonials listed below:-

  • Self Attested copy of the H.S.L.C. Examination Registration Card, Admit Card, Mark sheet, Pass Certificate.
  • Self Attested copy of the AHSEC (10+2) Examination Admit Card, Mark sheet, Pass Certificate.
  • Two copies of recent passport size photograph of the candidate.
  • Caste certificate of the candidate (Where applicable).
  • Migration Certificate (for students from other states or boards except AHSEC).

Candidates must bring all the original documents for verification at the time of admission.

ELIGIBILITY

  • A candidate for admission to the Five Year Integrated BB.A., LL.B(H) and B.A., LL.B(H) courses shall have to pass the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or an equivalent examination securing aggregate marks not below:
  1.  a) 45% marks and above for general students.
  2.  b) 42% or above for OBC/MOBC students.
  3. c) 40% and above for SC/CT students.
  • Those students, who fulfil the essential qualification and have applied for admission in prescribed form with all testimonials, are eligible for admission into the concerned discipline.
  • Eligible candidates are required to deposit the admission fee in the office by cash or through online mode.
  • After submission of the admission fee candidates will be admitted into the course as per University guidelines.

REFUSAL OF ADMISSION

Notwithstanding any rules and procedures, a student may be refused admission if his/her past conduct in the educational institution last attended has not been satisfactory. A student who has been expelled / rusticated or disqualified by the University may also be refused admission.

CANCELLATION OF ADMISSION

Admission of a student can be cancelled at any stage if it is found that he/she has furnished incorrect information/ information’s or has suppressed facts to secure admission. If any dispute arises out of such refusal/cancellation, the decision of the principal shall be final. The fee once deposited is non-refundable. Students admitted will be provided with cash receipts for the deposit of admission fees.
